Community Resources

The following list is in no way complete, we will continue to add resources as we find them or they are recommended. These are a few we have found helpful to pregnancy, newborn care, and the postpartum. Many of these are private businesses, and as such are a place to start and not necessarily endorsed by Edmonton Community Midwives.

Alberta Association of Midwives

The Alberta Association of Midwives supports consumers of care, and the midwives who serve them. You will find tons of information about the midwifery model of care, what midwives do, the scope of practice. This is where you apply for care.
